I'm sure the chair is a bit more expensive, but if you take space and usability, sure it could replace them... although I'd worry about having to 'upgrade' your chair every so often. that could get expensive.

Re: Yes, Finally, The Ultimate CAD/World Domination Workstation

Love it. Although I don't think I could justify the 7K sort of price tag, although I wonder if a set of these could save enough on office cubicle space to almost make it worth it (dream on I guess).

Re: Yes, Finally, The Ultimate CAD/World Domination Workstation

The acid delivery system is what would set this apart from any other wanabe insect-lookin' workstation. I think they throw in a pair of white contact lenses so it looks like the beast has symbiotically taken over your thought-control and now has a mind of it's own. welcome to the future.

Re: Yes, Finally, The Ultimate CAD/World Domination Workstation

Legs would be great. I'm thinking anywhere from 4-6 of them. Also it needs big shiny black pincers, a flame thrower, and possibly some kind of acid delivery option.

On an every so slightly more serious note, it needs another row of three monitors above the current three and a 3DConnexion SpaceExplorer built into both arm rests.

If those SpaceExplorers could be glowy blue-whitish that would make me smile.

Re: Yes, Finally, The Ultimate CAD/World Domination Workstation

@Marijn - ha!
