Started by Josh M · 10 måneder dage siden

Oh, the joys of putting a product online. All you want to do is get it out there. But what is the best way to actually do that without searching and testing and paying way too much for something really frustrating to use? Well, you’re in luck.
I’ve been looking ... Continue reading »

  • SWEET! I had no idea about Amazon's webstore. That makes it seem alot easier to set something up. I've used Microsoft bcentral but it was a pain and I didn't like the way it worked. Thanks!
  • I'm assuming that's $60/month regardless of the your store's revenue?
  • Yep Bruce. 60 bucks. but what I like is that you can have as many as you want and the 7% is based on your sales.
  • Hey Matt, excellent suggestion. It was a real close call between Amazon Webshop and Shopify. I probably like Shopify better in ease of use, but like the visibility of Amazon (even though you can do fulfillment through Amazon on Shopify) a bit more. I haven't tried SHopfiy out completely, but didn't notice any up-selling or cross-selling features. That would be great.

It also depends on what you're selling I suppose. Like for t-shirts I would suggest printmojo.com. They are the store and fulfillment so you have more time to do what you enjoy, instead of handling shipments. I did a cost comparison and when I checked, you could make better margins using them rather than setting up shop and getting a printer yourself.

    Thanks for suggesting that!
  • I may have to reconsider whether or not to set up shop again now. I wasn't real familiar with ecommerce stores and when I tried I was way over my head. I didn't have the type of support that I needed and it was just a nightmare. I like the sound of the amazon program I really sounds easy to use. The support they offer is real appealing as well. Thanks Great post.
  • What Is StumbleUpon?

    StumbleUpon is a social network
in which people ?stumble? onto random websites at the click of a button. You can
easily submit your site and receive plenty of hits for free with StumbleUpon. If your website is popular enough, it could get steady traffic from StumbleUpon
    over the course of months!

The fantastic thing about StumbleUpon as apposed to other sites like Reddit and Digg is that the user is randomly brought to your site, and won?t avoid your
site because of the title you made or the keywords you inputted. It is
completely blind to people?s natural reactions of what to click and what not to click, giving you traffic.

Okay, Great? So, how do I make money off of them?

  • I have to say, that I could not agree with you in 100%, but it's just my opinion, which could be wrong.
