  • This is great Josh, My friend and I who also frequents this site are looking to start a SWUG very soon. I'm glad to see this, it will def. be something I read if the task seems a little daunting... And i'll probably bug you with some questions, haha.
  • Thanks Kyle, Solidworks helps out a lot. Richard Doyle at SolidWorks is the guy to talk to. Email me if you have questions.
  • Great Post, Josh.

Here's my dream, a combo Music Fest and SolidWorks User Group Meeting! Elvis Costello "Pump It Up" followed by SolidWorks Toolbox. The Ramones, "7 7 Is", followed by PDMW Enterprise. Any takers?

  • how stinkin' cool would that be! talk about dangerous though, solidworks users stompin' and pittin'. Maybe Richard can put some User Group mixtapes together.

  • What a shame that Las Vegas doesn't have one of these user groups. I did try to help get one started. For a guy like myself who is teaching himself, how is the best way to approach it? A systematic approach or a hunt and peck curriculum, or even by video tutorials. I have plenty of time because I am supposed to be retired. (I have never been this busy in my whole life with trying to establish SolidWorks in our schools) The Inspirtech company headed up by Al Whatmough has truly been a big help. What I learn how to do I teach. I'm open for suggestions pal.
