Very Interesting article on critical high performance while using SolidWorks. Large Assembly Management inside SolidWorks in the context of a PDM would definitely get a boost with this architecture.
On a different note, in the Workstation Notebook category we have seen HP 8710W performing very well in terms of large assembly management, graphics delivery and overall computing performance. We have been recommending the same to our clients.
