Maybe this is something for the 1337 http://fastra.ua.ac.be/en/index.html
CAD designer it only has 4 NVIDIA 9800GX2 but it cost less then 4000 and that is less then the best CAD PC out there.

I have a Turion processor chip in my laptop, and it works phenomenal! I have always been a big fan of AMD, ever since they have been outdoing Intel. I really hope AMD will continue to perform better than Intel!

I have two demo units coming in next week. I will post a review and our thoughts on the processor shortly after. We are also interested in seeing what the performance will be like.

At the same time, I'm a little unsure what AMD's direction will be moving forward,

    Regards,

    Keith

The Puma is an entry level platform that is not suitable for CAD. The 2.1 GHz Turion X2 Ultra 64) actually performs slower than an entry level Core2 notebook running at the same clock speed. There's really no comparison with true mobile workstation with a 2.5+GHz CPU and Quadro or FireGL graphics.

That's the entry level model, they have a 2.4Ghz ZM-86 now ready to buy.

Take a look to this baby performance and then speak.
