Please try DXF Viewer for iPhone called Drawvis. It is 2D viewer only but does CAD DXF files viewing very fast and does it with big files > 30MB

multi-touch CAD.... be watching for the next issue of Develop3D. I did an article on that very topic. I think some things in hte future are realyl going to surprise some people. who needs a flat screen for 3D? :) It will change.

'no way I could go back to using a mouse' - my 2 yr old used a iphone... once. he's constantly trying to move things on a laptop screen. isn't that interesting.

Just downloaded it and played around a little. I'm very impressed. I don't know if this is really useful for anything, but wow, I love the idea of multitouch CAD. The interface on this actually pretty well thought out. If it had more powerful tools and I could put it on a bigger screen, there's no way I could go back to using a mouse.

yup - straight from the dungeon at d3d towers.. I love apple laptops, for some that writes as much as I do, the keyboard is worth the investment before I get all clawed up like emperor palpatine and they have to prize my blackberry out of my cold dead hands..

multitouch looks cool - but for CAD? I ain't so sure.. and there's one very good reason (actually, two).. RSI and bloodflood... unless its a tablet style implimentation..

Dean on Video. making the point of the century like nobody else could. yeah, Apple brought on multi-touch. now it's up to everyone else (HTC, Google, HP, heck even Microsoft with Windows 7) to knock'em sideways from sunday and make it accessible to everyone else.
