It use to be a nice modern-looking container, but after I filled it with those dragon babies, their intelligence about odd craft items to sell at wholesales prices helped me discover these links.
Photoshop Fractal Brushes Oh my eye. These fractals are hot and fractaly.

  • I like the Bench. Interesting it was designed in Alibre.

I had to laugh when I saw the builder recommending to "bend a steel rule" to make the radius. Bent steel rules laying around can't be good.

    Cheers,
    Paul & Babe
  • yeah, don't bend your metal ruler. use a good stiff piece of laminate or masonite. works perfect.
  • The 18 ways to live below your means is a good article. I see so many people who are always wanting more when they could be content with what they already have.

The Sliderocket presentation could have a future if more people switch over to cloud computing.
  • I agree Rod, it's tough will all the cool tech and toys out there. I've found that using the power of procrastination on high ticket items helps me avoid buying a lot of things I just don't need or wouldn't use!
  • I like to procrastinate on the high ticket items also. I have to ask myself, "Do I really need to spend $2000+ on a tv today?", or can I wait a couple of years and pay half the cost?
  • YES! YES YOU DO!! arrrrg. soooo torn. I'm measuring our fireplace to build an enclosure for a flat screen. right now it would have to be pretty thick, but if I wait, oh a few more months, the ultra-thin and OLED's will be more common, maybe more affordable, but man it would be fun to have some HD, blue-ray action right now. must... wait.. a ... bit ... longer. of course, it's neverending. but as soon as 42" LCD/OLED are reasonably priced and around 1" thick or less, I'm buyin' :)
  • Hey Josh - Good to see you catching on to the Map my Run...(walk in my case). I use the sister site, Map my Walk. The arial tracking option comes in handy when Matt wants to go off road for a "short cut". I love that site and have been using it for my walks around town, even the ones that Matt and I took around Barcelona. Take care - Kim
  • AWESOME kim! I've been just looking through the site and am amazed at all the routes i didn't know about. I'll have to check out MapMyWalk too, I bet it's good for finding short courses. thanks!
