I took the test a while ago but didn't pass.  In my opinion, the cswp test is 50% SW knowledge testing and 50% speed modeling testing. Kinda like the iphone ordeal...&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I'm wondering why the promotion, though. Are there not enough people interested in taking the exam? Are they trying to push numbers for some marketing/PR reason?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I took it 2 years ago. Even if you don't get in on the promotion, I think it it's well worth the price. If it's for free, then you have no excuse not to try.
