Finding Clarity in Isolation

With all the crazy stuff going on in the world it’s kinda nice to get away once in a while from the all the busyness and concentrate on the details that really matter, like catching up with old friends, spending time with family and cleaning up your part geometry.

  • This is by far the most useful new feature of 2007.

    I've only been using this release for a month but most of the "improvements", as far as I can tell, were added to help newbies and not experienced users (i.e. Xpert this and that).
  • Isometric sections which is just great.
  • I like using the isolate command a lot to create a variety of display states to use in my drawings. It keeps me from having to do a lot of section views that generate a lot of drawing overhead in my view. It is very a very useful tool once you get use to using it.
  • oh, that's a good one Rod. I've used display states in drawings but haven't done those using the isolate tool. good idea.
