  • Hey Josh,
    Your results for the large assembly don't make sense after what I was told by the people at Adobe. Acrobat 3D is supposed to shrink file size, not increase it. I'm going to have to delve into that some more when I have the time.

  • Hey there Jeff. Yeah, it's suppose to and it generally does until you get into some large assemblies. You can get around this if you export it from SolidWorks as another format like .x_t or .step, but bringing in a large file in every case I did either did not produce anything or was a very large file.

    In fact the only way I was able to get a really large file to render is with the large assembly conversion. Of course this is also just in the things I tested, so hopefully someone else will be able to show some different or similar results.

    I'll send you some screenshots of the file sizes i got.
