How do you get info out of SolidWorks models? Threats and candy don’t do the trick, but bring out a steamy bowl of button clicking and you’ll be in statistical, property enhanced euphoria to break up the vapid atmosphere of deadlines and cold pastries.

    I would love to have some stats on my sheet metal parts and assemblies. bends, bend allowances, thicknesses, etc.

    I am a heavy user of file properties but I must admit I never thought to use them to bust someone. Josh you are just evil man.
    Nick you can find many properties that are useful and even create your own. Experiment with file properties on every model especially multi-configurations.

    haha! you're right Rollin. pretty sneaky huh. I think file properties are the most unappreciated items in solidworks. so many ways to customize and use them for each need.
