  Love the ideas on how to make money with SolidWorks. I only have a student version that I am learning so I can teach the youngsters in our school district as a volunteer teacher. At least this discussion gives me some ammo to fire at them about the possibilities. Thanks.

  I love this site. I think it is great. I am 3D modeler of two years now, and have SW 2008 at home. I would like to start doing some of this stuff freelance but I have no idea where to even start looking where work like this would be. I dilly dally on my off days and would like to get paid for it. I live in a small town with a population of about 40,000 in the county. I cant do it full time but would like to make a little extra spending cash.

  I'm in the same boat with you 3d. My interests are so varied, I'd love to be able to make a little extra money while having fun (And learning new ways to trick SW into doing what i want, even when it wants to do it the easy way)

  yes this is a good idea..me too want t o make money through swks. i do solid modeling and camera view animations..and i am an arts too. i love to do this seriously...and give me more detail about this
